Madeon.  The kid is a full on musical prodigy, only 16 years old and already creating very powerful progressive Disco-House.  France is killing it right now.  Madeon first got attention for his remix of Pendulum's "The Island," which won a remix contest.  However, his original tracks are totally monumental and what really impress me.  The two original tracks, "Shuriken" and "For You," are nothing but straight disco house flame, sample these.

Odd Future with Mos Def after the NYC Show

These guys are incredible.  Odd Future, full name Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA), is made up of Tyler, the Creator and Hodgy Beats.  They had their TV debut the other night on Jimmy Fallon, performing "Sandwitches" and while it was extremely sinister it got rowdy as hell. SWAG.

Kanye West - "All Of The Lights" Official Music Video

We interrupt our normally scheduled broadcasting to bring you this, fresh in:  Kanye West's new video for "All Of The Lights" has dropped.  It's directed by Hype Williams and is a fantastic work of art, which has come to be expected from Kanye.  It starts off with a little girl in black and white walking through the city alone, then the intro lyrics show up on the screen in awesome different fonts, colors and lights.  Then at around the two minute mark, we finally see Kanye balling hard, dancing on cop cars, doing his thing.  When Rihanna makes her appearance she is wearing one of the hottest outfits I've ever seen, it's pretty incredible... Oh and CuDi makes his brief appearance too.  Check it out.

HOURGLASS SEA + HUDSON MOHAWKE

I am really excited about this post featuring Hourglass Sea and Hudson Mohawke, I have been waiting for the perfect time to drop the BOMB.  These two artists make incredible instrumental music, and it is not hard to draw comparisons between their music and styles (and album covers).  Hip hop drum beats with airy fun melodies and elements of dub/glitch thrown in as well.  Call it chillwave or whatever you want but this music is right up my alley, and hopefully your's too.  Check 'em out.

Calvin Harris + Booka Shade: The Stars Come Out for the Teenage Spaceman

Two really upbeat, fun house tracks for you on this beautiful Friday.  Finally got some good weather, and what better to enjoy it with than some feel-good house music.  The first track is "Stars Come Out" by Calvin Harris.. a very appropriate song for a Friday post because it is off his "Ready For The Weekend" album.  This song is so catchy and danceable, I love it, it's been on constant rotation recently over here, I would definitely pick this one up.  The next house tune is from a personal favorite group of mine, Booka Shade.  It's a more laid-back style of house but regardless, Booka Shade are impressive producers, put on fun live shows and their music has great progression and good vibes.  The track is "Teenage Spaceman," and it's a really tight song that's a good one to throw on the headphones to just enjoy and "space" out.

Out of Portland Oregon, Starfucker / STRFKR are releasing their third album "Reptilians" March 8th on Polyvinyl.  Chances are you have probably heard "Rawnald Gregory Erickson The Second" at least a few times if you ever watch tv. Saigon: The Greatest Story Never Told

Saigon's new joint, "The Greatest Story Never Told," is an album that, like Saigon, hasn't gotten much praise besides from underground rap fans.  Having said that, I am loving what I've been hearing from Saigon lately-- his track with Statik Selektah, "Spit," is straight fire.  He raps on a lot of Just Blaze tracks, who compliments him well and is a good producer for him to collaborate with.  Enjoy.
