NC MUSIC

Sorry, I haven't posted in a minute because of Thanksgiving and how busy school is getting so close to finals and all.  But today I've got some fire music for y'all that hits close to home for me, music out of North Carolina... some really exciting hip hop has been coming out of NC recently, and y'all need to check it out.
First up it's Eddy B & Tim Gunter, who I've been onto for a while now but are just now getting some widespread recognition, so i had to throw em up.  Eddy is an emcee out of Greensboro, (where yours truly was born) and Tim Gunter is out of Raliegh, together Eddy B and Tim Gunter crank out some really laid back chill rhymes with some tight beats from songs that aren't hip-hop beats which is so awesome.  Their new mixtape "Dear North Carolina, Welcome Back" has been getting a ton of acclaim, rightfully so because it's amazing, you can pick it up here.

This next rapper is no underground rapper anymore, Roc Nation's biggest new superstar, J. Cole out of Fayetteville, North Carolina has straight blown up.  And for good reason, he's killing it and taking names.  He just released his "Friday Night Lights" mixtape, and it's incredible with a ton of highlight tracks, pick it up here.

Last up is Dow Jones, who is a rapper out of Charlotte and is blowing up right now.  He's got serious southern swag but keeps his lyrics tight with huge beats.  His song "Tweeters" has been gaining some serious attention right now, definitely check him out, you can grab his mixtape "Global Currency" here.
